Auchen Castle Wedding

A stunning winter wedding at the fabulous Auchen Castle in Southern Scotland. We even had a dusting of snow but it didn’t stop us utilising the VW Beetle Convertible!

After a romantic proposal in Paris Adam and Jess decided on the Castle for their wedding venue and had a fantastic day with their closest friends and family.

Auchen Castle, the Original Scottish Fairytale Castle. Hidden away in the Moffat hills, in the heart of Rabbie Burns country, gilded staircases and fairytale gardens await you at our unique wedding venue. Once you step inside, you’ll appreciate why Auchen Castle is so special.

We were treated to a wonderful ceremony by the very talented Lindsey Mason Ross. Jess was piped in by the busiest piper in the world Mr Callum Watson and evening entertainment was handled by Ross Kennedy from RKDJ.

Jess wore a white ballgown-style dress from Brides in the City, Glasgow and Adam and the groomsmen wore weathered MacRae Tartan from Anderson Kilts in Dumfries.

The staff on the day were superb and we were treated to fine food which was simply sublime! Thank you!

Adam and Jess chose a combined photo/video package. Thanks to Tom Armstrong for filming on the day while I took the pictures.
